Holiday Cards From Minted

Disclosure: I received complimentary cards for review, and the link below is an affiliate link.

Ever since I had my children, I’ve always enjoyed ordering our Christmas cards. I take a variety of pictures of the kids throughout the late fall months, and choose my favorite before ordering our cards. This year, since we were visiting Walt Disney World for Thanksgiving, I knew that I’d want to take our pictures there. I had the kids pose in a variety of locations – the Osborne Spectacle of Dancing Lights, the tree at the Magic Kingdom, with Phineas and Ferb, among other spots. I finally chose the photo that we all liked best – in front of the beach-themed free at the Beach Club Resort.

Once I had the picture, I needed the perfect card. It’s easy to search Minted for the best designs. I used the Find It Fast™ option to upload our picture. Then, Minted showed me all of their photo cards with my photo inserted. To narrow things down, you can also select specific options, like number of photos, photo orientation, price, printing type, and format. Minted offers a variety of designs from many different independent designers, so there are lots of different style choices available.

Depending on the card you choose, you’ll also be able to make some additional choices – like paper type and card format. After you’ve selected your card and customized it, you have the option of receiving a proof. It does add some time to the processing, so at this point, it’s probably better to skip. Just be sure that you are happy with everything as is.

I customized my cards last week, and have them in my hands this week. And they are absolutely perfect. I also got the matching return address labels, so I just need to put the mailing addresses on them, and I’ll be able to send them out.
